Distinguished Lecturers Series

Fascinating presentations by distinguished scholars on such wide-ranging subjects as archaeology, history, natural history, and current events both enlighten and entertain!

This annual series of world-class lectures, organized by the Friends of Crow Canyon and sponsored by individuals and local businesses, raises funds that help underwrite tuition for local students attending Crow Canyon programs.

There are many benefits to sponsoring the Distinguished Lecturers Series. If you or your company would like to be become a sponsor, please call Audrey at 970.564.4396 or 800.422.8975, ext. 136 (e-mail: coleman@crowcanyon.org).

The 2008–2009 Distinguished Lecturers Series has ended. Please check back in the fall for information about the upcoming 2010 series.

Community Lectures

Crow Canyon’s own scholars are popular and well-respected speakers on the local, regional, and national lecture circuits. In informative public presentations, Crow Canyon archaeologists report on the latest discoveries in the field and lab, current trends in Southwestern archaeology, and their own personal research projects.
