Research Programs

Are you interested in American Indian history and culture? Do you love the Southwest? Have you wondered what it would be like to be an archaeologist?

At the Crow Canyon Archaeological Center, we offer a wide variety of programs that actively engage people of all ages—adults, high school students, teachers, and families—in real archaeological research.

Most programs include the chance for you to excavate at our current site and work in the laboratory, examining artifacts collected from recent field projects. Our research is developed in consultation with our Native American advisory group, whose insights complement the archaeological perspective and add a unique cross-cultural dimension to your experience.

So sign up for a Crow Canyon research program, where your discoveries make a real and lasting contribution to our collective and ever-expanding knowledge of the Pueblo past! View the full Archaeology Catalog (PDF) online.
